Mate es un niño que, como tantos, siente una enorme fascinación por los dinosaurios. Sin embargo, a diferencia de tantos otros, no crecerá. Un día, en un centro comercial en construcción, cerca de su casa, encuentran huellas de un alosaurio, es decir, lagarto extraño, nada menos.
